Community College, Umm Al-Qura University

Through qualification, training, and research, the Community College in Makkah at Umm Al-Qura University endeavors to provide high-caliber human resources who combine knowledge with practice to satisfy the needs of the community and the labor in accordance with the developmental plans.

Al Batoul Trading Est. was called upon to provide complete interior construction, wall finishing, and flooring design for the Community College of Umm Al-Qura University. Also provided was the supply and installation of the piping system, laboratories, benches, and equipment using MOTT as material supplier.

Prince Mohammed Al-Faisal Offices

Al Batoul Trading Est. was called upon for the complete interior contracting in the renovation of three offices for Prince Mohammed Al-Faisal: in Jeddah, on Waly Aladhast. Rd. & Madinah Rd., and another in Jizan. The entire offices were renovated, including concept design, floor design, supply and installation of the AC system, Safe rooms, finishing materials, demountable partitions and office furniture using KI and AGI as furniture suppliers.

King Fahad Library

The design for the King Fahad National Library, which gained 1st prize in the competition of 2002, plays a major role in the reordering of the city. Integrating the old cupola-roofed library, the building encased by a filigree dress made of textile triangles respectfully combines regional building traditions with technological state-of-the-art.

Al Batoul Trading Est. was called upon for the supply and installation of library furniture using KI for this particular project.

NCB Multi-Purpose Hall

Ras Tanura Refinery HR-Development Headquarters

Since its beginning more than 60 years ago, Ras Tanura Refinery, seen here, has grown into one of the most complex in the world, with a distillation capacity of 550,000 bpd of crude oil and gas condensates, and consists of an NGL plant, crude stabilization, water desalination, electrical power and steam generating facilities. Ras Tanura Refinery produces about 40 percent of the Kingdom’s fuels, primarily gasoline, kerosene, diesel and fuel oil. On May 12, 2007, Saudi Aramco and Dow Chemical Co. signed a Memorandum of Understanding to study the construction, ownership and operation of a world-scale chemicals and plastics production complex, the Ras Tanura Integrated Project.

Princess Nora University for Girls

The full project calls for construction of a new university for women. The university is expected to cover 8 millions square metres and located on King Khalid International Airport Road at north of Riyadh. The total built up area is around 3 millions square metres. The university will include administration buildings, 13 faculties, a 700-bed student hospital, laborites, Research centres, and residential area that include accommodation for students and staff. The capacity of university is around 26,000 students.

Al Batoul Trading Est. was called upon to supply and install five Skyfold Auto-lift Wall Systems for Princess Nora bint Abdulrahman University for Girls in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

King Abdullah University for Science and Technology

The King Abdullah University for Science and Technology (KAUST) was founded in 2009 and focuses exclusively on graduate education and research, using English as the official language of instruction. It offers programs in life Sciences, engineering, computer Sciences, and physical sciences. University officially opened on September 23, 2009, KAUST’s core campus, located on the Red Sea at Thuwal, is sited on more than 36 square kilometres (14 sq mi), encompassing a marine sanctuary and research facility. KAUST is Saudi Arabia’s first and the world’s largest LEED-certified project. It was also chosen by the American Institute of Architects (AIA) Committee on the Environment (COTE) as one of the 2010 Top Ten Green Projects.
